CSS & JS

I have now completed the website. I have used CSS to make my website look good. I have used a black and white scheme instead of colours because it may make the images look bland if there is bright backgrounds. I have a nav bar as well as several div tags to section code. I have also done the Javascript code which is simply validating the login form. I am now uploading the website to the server and going to start on the last stage of the process which is the testing to make sure the website includes everything it needs to and the functionality all works as it should.

Content Upload & Gallery

This week I have set up the content upload page as well as a gallery page which slides between pictures that have been uploaded to the server. I have downloaded a public library called supersized (http://buildinternet.com/project/supersized/download.html) and then I edited the code to show pictures uploaded to the server rather than set image files. All I need to do now is "tart" it up and make it look nice which I will spend next week doing.

Login and CMS

This week, I have worked on setting up the login system with users and beign able to log in, check the login and log out (also going to the control panel when logging in). I also have set up the content management system with the view news feed, add, edit and delete entries of the news feed. All my pages besides the image upload and the gallery are all set up. I haven't done any CSS or JavaScript yet so my pages are looking very bland and boring at the minute.

Starting the website

I have done all my designing and uploaded it, I am now implementing my website for the Panavia Stock Images business. So far I have made the home, news feed, contact, gallery and login pages for the website but haven't put any data in yet. I haven't done the functionality of the login or content management system yet and I need to add more information into the news feed.
